I have a HTC Diamond running Windows Mobile 6.1. I used to sync with Outlook 2007 with no incident. That is until I re-imaged my laptop and reinstalled Outlook. I didn’t change any setting on my smart phone and I loaded Outlook with the same settings, but low and behold it’s now broken!
Possible Solutions:
Reinstall Active Sync
Reinstall Outlook
This Solution worked for me YEAH!
If none on the above solutions worked for you, it will comfort you to know that 1) you may not have to spend countless hours (days) in search of a fix and 2) this fix is simple!
- Disconnect phone from PC
- Close Active Sync on PC and Phone
- Go to Start –>Settings –> Connection –> USB to PC
- Uncheck “Enable advanced network functionality”
- Click “Ok”
- Reconnect Phone to PC
DONE!!!
NOTE: If you have PHM Registy Editor installed, try and keep the size of “BodyTruncation” 20480 and under. Higher tends to cause issues.
